The strength of your immune system is directly linked to your diet. Other factors play a part obviously, for example your age. Someone who’s 70 may have more trouble fighting off a bug than a man who’s 25. The low humidity dries out mucous membranes.The membranes can become cracked and abraded, which makes you more vulnerable to viral infections.

Drinking loads of pure fluids helps to keep the membranes moist. Should you catch a cold, it’s easier for your body to expel the viruses. Some fluids are particularly good choices because they contain antioxidants that boost immune system strength. Orange juice is recognized for its vitamin C content. Green tea is well known in certain areas of the world and is becoming increasingly common in the west. The antioxidants and other nutrients in green tea make your immune system stronger naturally.

Several spices have antifungal, antifungal and organic anti-bacterial activity. The spices were used historically to treat disorders, long before anti-viral antibiotics and drugs were introduced. Spices with proven germ-fighting action include garlic, black cumin, black pepper and ginger.
