Cancer is a class of disorder that occurs when healthy cells mutate and become cancerous. There are over 100 kinds of cancers, each of which is categorized by the sort of cell changed in the first stage. The body creates new cells replacing the old ones that die. But sometimes, the method goes wrong.


New cells create even if not needed, and old cells do not die when they should. The extra bulk of cells form a mass called receptor which then mutate and become cancerous or benign in nature, or to say in a common language – they become vicious and hostile. Cells from the tumor subsequently invade the surrounding tissues and also spread to other areas of the body. Symptoms and treatments of these cancers are based on the type of cancer and how advanced it is.

There are seven warning signals that may confirm the presence of cancer. The earlier cancer is diagnosed and treated, the greater are the odds of someone’s survival. There are a high number of cancers such as breast, skin, prostate, prostate, testicles, and anus, which may be detected though a regular check-up or by analyzing the indicators. While on the other hand, there are many which are detected and diagnosed after analyzing a tumor located in the body.

  • Sarcoma: It begins in bone, cartilage, fat, blood vessels, muscle, or other supporting or connecting tissues.
  • Leukemia: It begins in blood-forming tissue such as bone marrow and help to the creation of abnormal blood cells in the whole blood.
  • Lymphoma and myeloma: It begins in the cells of the immune system.
  • Central nervous system cancers: It starts in the brain and spinal cord tissues.


The onset of disease is influenced by an array of factors like age, sex, local environmental factors, diet, lifestyle, obesity, genetics, sun, tobacco, etc.. There are some causes that remain unknown. Many patients develop this deadly disease because of combination of these variables. Though it has been see it is often difficult to find out the specific cause of the onset of the disease. The treatment of the chronic disease is based on the sort of cancer and its stage. Usually, it involves radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery. While there might be instances wherein the oncologists may opt to offer additional treatment to the individual like hormone therapy, stem cell transplant or biologic therapy.
