Kevin: So let’s discuss the most common viruses that most people could have. What are the numbers? I’ve read that up to 90 percent of individuals have viruses. Well, I’d probably say 90 to 100, closer to 100. One time a very famous bacteriologist, a professional in bacteria, was giving a lecture with my invitation in one of those medical schools that I worked with. I had been in the audience and he was pointing out the amount of cells in the body.

Bacteria

It’s intriguing that people have more bacteria by number, so many trillions of bacteria in contrast to so many hundreds of billions of cells. There’s four times more bacteria which actually write who we are. Can you believe that? And all those, except when we are influenced, are supposed to be there. That’s our robiotics. It’s not only in the gut, they are through all our other cells. We sort of had a little eye to eye and smiled. Afterwards we chatted a little bit and realized that his advice was from a different paradigm, over 20 years back. And mine was a bit more present because we get infected by viruses, and we used to believe that the body cleared out everything, but today we realize that it does not.

Anywhere between 90 and 95 percent, possibly higher, carry antibodies to some common herpes virus known as Epstein-Barr. And you may go, and this was analyzed, into Brazilian Amazon natives across the river into the Northern Artic Eskimos to urban populations in pretty much every country and every continent. So how did the virus get so global and so omnipresent that it infects nearly everyone? During childhood, it stays there. Another is roseola. The list continues on and on. Those are herpes virus family microorganisms.

Let’s see…

So the number might be anywhere from 90 to 100 percent for carrying some kind of virus around with us. Dr. Williams: Yes, exactly. The kissing disease. It can be quite severe. When I’m talking to people, by way of instance, with chronic fatigue, among the first things I wish to track down is, is that the exhaustion brought on by an illness, and which kind of disease could that be? Is it spyro-acute lyme disease, a sort of bacteria, or some other parasites or bacteria or yeast organisms or virus? Those are the key infectious microorganisms.

And if it is, then I try to narrow it down further. Which sort of infectious agent is it? If it’s viruses, well, then you are in my domain! Dr. Williams: But probably the tiniest proportion of chronic fatigue are actually caused by infectious organisms, and just a portion of those that come from infectious are by Epstein Barr. But at the history taking, what I’ll do is I’ll attempt to ask the patients, did they ever have mono, will be among the primary questions, and to what degree did it make them ill. They might have been in bed for two months with an enlarged spleen; I mean, very, very ill. Or, they might have had almost nothing.

A passing cold

Maybe it was just like a passing cold or they believed they had a flu but really they had mono. And it may or may not, the amount that they are infected initially, may or may not have a bearing on how their immune system and how their body is now reacting to a reactivation for this latent viral type of Epstein Barr. Every modern disease or the majority of these, but certainly diabetes, cancer, even all of the autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and MS and not to mention chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia and the list continues on and on, the most popular modern degenerative chronic ailments are connected by a single thing, and that is the immune system.

And so, in exploring viruses and in treating viruses exactly what I discovered was that since there is no medication or even effective herbs or things that we must think of a strategy that I predict the viral resistance or the viral immunity program or strategy, to strengthen and to regulate or to boost our immune systems, and what are the most essential elements. And by the way, I’m working, I’m just on the advantages of functioning, concept just, right now, but with a huge global firm with research in Canada and Korea and other areas to come up with a really world class immune-strengthening supportive formula that is sort of broad based and might assist the immune system in general, but especially against viruses.

All the time?

Do you do it all of the time? Is it something that you really go on and off of? I believe this type of encompasses a good deal of questions that the audience is later. And because each of these ailments I talked about are so connected to immunity, if there is 1 thing that sort of connected them all together it could be an imbalanced or diminished or damaged immune system, that it is essential for everybody to begin to take corrective actions in their way of life, in their diet, their, the way they move, their exercise, to strengthen their immunity and also to safeguard their immunity and to enforce it and keep it lifelong.

Then another part of the question is that for those men and women who do have the symptoms of a weakening immunity, then they ought to begin to actively treat it at a, maybe we would call it a soft manner, but at a daily basis with nourishment and perhaps some herbal remedies. And then they ought to have the knowledge and information how to either, the way to modulate up or boost up the action of a few of those medications they’re taking during such as the fall and winter once the flu season is elevated, also, or if there is, if they suspect they are getting a virus or they have a latent virus that is reactivating.

Lifestyle

I mean, in their own mind that they, I’m exaggerating, but like they lived an ideal diet. Nobody lives a perfect way of life and the ideal diet on the planet, believe me.

Nutrition

The foods that we eat in America; you can shop at the health food store and purchase everything and organic; and that is important, that is a massive plus, and that is going to help you a lot, but nothing in this country is safe from adaptation, and even trucking the fruits and vegetables, they need to be fumigated, etc. So, there is no such thing as that; that is like living in a bubble, in a pristine world. And even the places I go high in the Andes, such as Shangri-la kind of areas, they and other areas of earth, the living is rocky, and yes, the air is clean and pure, and the people don’t have any disease, and etc., but it is encroaching in on them. And it is long, long, long ago, generations past have encroached in us, so our genetics have been modified or altered. We could enhance our genetic expression. We can help ourselves, in other words. But we can not often undo the damage which our parents experienced before we were born.

Final note

And so, the other issue is that if you’ve got no immunity to disease, you are going to get infected, however strong you are. In matter of fact, it is going to lay low the strongest of the strong, the youngest and the bravest of the brave, nobody is spared when character roars. When viruses come in, if you do not have the immunity to it along with your immune system reacts aggressively, it is the immune system that kills you, not the virus. So the solution is, it is very helpful, and it’ll help prevent plenty of immune system related conditions but it will not make you completely resistant or armor you to a place where you are invincible or totally invulnerable. That’s not how biology works. And then there is every shade of not just grey but every colour of the rainbow concerning viruses.
