Among the most important decisions you’ll make that will impact the health of your children is whether or not to vaccinate them. Since many medical authorities state vaccination is safe, most parents proceed with vaccination, completely oblivious of the possible dangers and not able to recognize significant reactions when they happen.

어디 보자...

I am a big believer in parenting without regrets and I am writing this report to spur you to do a little research on your own, particularly since the data you will be presented with (if any) by your pharmacist isn’t enough for you to make a truly informed choice. Regardless of whether you choose to vaccinate your children or not, you should at least be making a conscious and fully informed decision.

The vast majority of pediatricians will inform you that vaccines are safe and that the amount of kids that experience adverse reactions is quite low. Furthermore, they’ll lead you think that the few negative reactions are closely tracked and monitored. However, if you take the time to dig deeper you will realize that these assertions aren’t evidence based and lack strong scientific backing. For instance, there’s been a long term research that compares the health and welfare of educated children to unvaccinated children.

Children Diseases

Seeing as cancer is the chief cause of death by disease for children under 15 years old, would not it be fascinating to know whether the cancer rate for vaccinated children was much higher compared to unvaccinated children? Might that change our perspective about the wisdom and safety of vaccination? There was some analysis to the problem, but the two of the research are discounted from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

One study was of the Pennsylvania Amish, who do not vaccinate their children for religious reasons. When it was discovered that they have almost no incidence of autism (nor of asthma, allergies or ADHD) that the CDC responded by stating that the Amish have a “genetic connectivity” that protects them.

Another study, this one of a home-schooling organization of 35,000 children in the Chicago region, discovered that in this unvaccinated group there were no documented cases of pneumonia and the incidence of asthma, allergies and ADHD was extremely low as well. This was discounted. Vaccinations aren’t rigorously tested before being released to the general public. Typically, a new vaccine is tested by comparing short term side effects of a new vaccine against an already existing vaccine. The definition of what constitutes a negative effect is defined so many side effects are determined to be coincidence – not linked to the vaccination.

Additionally it is important to know that the pharmaceutical companies have been absolved of liability for vaccine injuries since congress enacted the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986. This leaves them with very little incentive to perform thorough testing. For example, when a producer’s representative was asked in a 1997 Illinois Board of Health hearing to reveal evidence that the hepatitis B vaccine is safe for teenagers, the agent said,”We have none, our research were performed on 5 and 10 year-olds.”

하지만 왜 그럴까요?

This is about because your kids are scheduled to receive three doses of Hep B before they’re a year old, with the first dose being administered prior to you and your baby leave the hospital. Since there’s so little testing before release, one would expect there would be careful monitoring and follow-up after the vaccine was released to the public so that when there were difficulties, they might be assessed and the vaccine could be pulled from the market if necessary. Not so! It’s a fact that when a vaccine is released into the current market, post-marketing surveillance is supposed to monitor any negative reactions.

However the adverse reporting system is entirely voluntary and based on David Kessler, (the head of the FDA for the majority of the 1990s), 90 to 99 percent of all adverse reactions are not reported. Not only are individual vaccines not rigorously analyzed, but the combination of vaccines prescribed at the Centers for Disease Control “Recommended Immunization Schedule 2009” aren’t studied in combination to demonstrate that providing multiple bacterial and viral vaccinations at the same time is safe.

Over the past twenty years, the amount of vaccinations kids are given has nearly quadrupled. In 1983 kids were awarded 5 shots during their first 6 months of life and 8 shots from age two. By 2007 that number increased 74 percent to 19 shots from age 6 weeks and a whooping 27 by the time they’re two years old. This is particularly about when you realize that kids are born with immature immune systems in addition to an inability to efficiently metabolize heavy metals. For the most part, mercury (Thimerosol) was removed from vaccines. This doesn’t mean there aren’t any other ingredients in vaccines which cause concern. One of those ingredients is aluminum that’s added to vaccinations to maximize their efficacy (help them function better).

Why is aluminum a concern?

Well, aluminum is removed primarily through the kidneys, when infants can not eliminate it efficiently it accumulates and causes impaired neurologic and psychological development that does not appear until around 18 months old. Infant kidney function is reduced at birth and does not reach full capacity until 1-2 years old. As a result, the cumulative exposure infants need to aluminum (in the procedure of getting up to 37 doses of vaccination delivered in 27 shots during their first two decades of life) can cause a lot of issues.

For instance, children typically receive eight vaccinations (Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Haemophilus Influenza Type B, Pneumococcal and Inactivated Poliovirus) on the same day when they are two months old. The complete quantity of aluminum they’re injected with is between 295 and 1225 micrograms, depending on which brands of vaccination are utilized. Meanwhile, the FDA requires that all injectable solutions have a 25 microgram limit. Reference 6) Not only is the aluminum exceeded at two weeks, but they’re injected with the same quantity of aluminum at 4 weeks and again at 6 weeks, long before their kidneys are fully functioning and may remove the aluminum efficiently.

The combined quantity of aluminum which builds up in their system will depend on their health and genetics, and is probably many, many times the recommended limit. More importantly, nobody knows what the consequences are for the millions of kids who are being vaccinated as part of the suggested schedule. If your child is injured by vaccination, you can’t sue the pharmaceutical company(s) that generated the vaccine(s).

Lawsuits

They’ve been shielded from lawsuits by the US government. Instead, you need to submit your case to the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP). Up to now, approximately 60 percent of those claims are rejected. The issue with winning reimbursement is demonstrating that the vaccine, not an unknown genetic problem or coincidence, caused the harm. Because your baby’s immune system is complicated, it’s simple for them to say it was something aside from the vaccine that caused the problem. The entire process takes quite a long time, meaning that if your child is hurt, you will probably wait years before you’re granted any money to defray the expenses of raising a child with severe medical and caretaking needs.

It’s estimated that the lifetime cost of caring for one autistic child is more than $4.5M. VICP has given more than $1.1 billion for vaccine injuries since 1988. If your child is hurt, no quantity of money can truly compensate you for shedding the bright, happy, wholesome kid you once had. Vaccination isn’t mandatory. Exemptions are allowed in most states for medical, spiritual and/or philosophical factors.

결론

As parents, you’re the person who’s ultimately responsible for making decisions for your children. You’re also the person who must live with the consequences of those choices, not your family , nor the authorities. Fortunately, there are lots of options when it comes to vaccination. First, there’s the option to vaccinate or not. Should you decide to vaccinate, you should carefully consider how many vaccinations you need your child to be supplied and at what ages.
