So we might have a hearty breakfast first thing in the morning when we wake up because it is what we believe we should do. We might have a snack at around 11.00. We’ll then have lunch likely around 12.00-1.00pm.

We might have a snack around 4pm, then we have dinner likely around 6.00-7.00pm. We might even have a small snack before we go to bed. What that means is that we are constantly eating, which means our digestive system seldom rests.

Additionally, when we are snacking we do not always know whether we actually are hungry, and over time eating between meals only becomes a habit.
